​Rosie Salvucci is an American/Italian double bassist who holds a BM (cum laude) with distinction in creative research from the Shepherd School of Music at Rice University and an MA from HFM Basel, where she studied with Roman Patkoló. From 2015-2017, she was principal double bass of the academy orchestra of La Scala in Milan. Based now in Berlin, Rosie plays with various orchestras and ensembles throughout Europe and maintains a private double bass studio. She  will be performing several world premiers at the Aldeburgh Festival (UK) in June 2020.
