Music touching lives
live interactive online WORKSHOPS
with choirs across the Uk
Artistic Director Tom Seligman's interactive talk, A Journey Through Western Choral Music, kept choirs from Edinburgh to Exeter entertained online during periods when they couldn‘t meet to make live music.
"An incredible talk - absolutely riveting! So nice that it was participatory too."
"Thanks Tom for such an interesting evening and fascinating journey through musical history!"
"What a fascinating romp through choral singing history and with such lovely illustrations too!"
"Thank you, thank you, thank you! I was blown away by last night’s presentation - I am always amazed at what more can be revealed about music..."
If your choir would like to take part, do let us know. Together we trace the story of Western choral music, from plainchant to polyphony and beyond, with a special focus on the ways music has been written down, and how the developments in musical style and in notation go hand in hand through the whole story. The Zoom talk is fast-moving, richly illustrated... and gets everyone singing along!
