Mireia started her music studies at the age of eight in Barcelona, choosing the cello because it was a big, impressive and challenging instrument. She has participated in various master classes of both cello and chamber music and accordingly has received invaluable pieces of advice from many well-known artists such as Antonio Meneses, Jean Guihen Queyras, Richard Aaron, Michel Strauss, Troels Svane, Lluís Claret and Leonid Gorokhov, among others. 
Being an avid chamber and orchestra musician, she has worked with ensembles such as the Noord Nederlands Orkest, Berliner Symphoniker, Philarmonisches Kammerorchester Berlin and Sinfonie Orchester Berlin among others.
